Marshall S. Perlman founded Claimstar in 2005, with an extensive background in management and sales. Through his experience in insurance, security and construction, he recognized the need for services that protect the consumer in time of need.
He saw the vulnerability of homeowners and business owners when disaster struck. He was determined to rectify this situation by developing Claimstar, which would represent the consumer, rather than the insurance company.
Through his diligence, Claimstar has grown from a single office in the Philadelphia community to being licensed in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut.
Claimstar’s staff has extensive backgrounds in catastrophic insurance adjusting, fire, water and smoke remediation as well as training in fire safety. Many are ex-firemen and police.
His staff, like Marshall, understands the havoc caused by a disaster, and the need to quickly restore a personal or professional loss. Marshall and his staff are powerful advocates for consumers and has the skills to work with them on restoring their homes and businesses.
